Our Vision
We exist to see every person treated with dignity and love. We walk alongside vulnerable children and women – providing safe homes, education, skills, and aftercare so they can thrive and lead change in their communities.
Our Mission
Through care homes, skills training, anti‑trafficking work, and HIV outreach, we offer practical help today and pathways for tomorrow.

A place to belong
Belonging changes everything. In our enclaves, young people find mentorship, study support, and a family rhythm—meals together, shared chores, and celebrations. For women, community circles, counselling, and skills lead to confidence and income. Across every program, the message is the same: you are seen, you are safe, you are capable.

About Us
The visionaries
Founded by Beena and Martin Philip, Bethesda Life Centre began in 2001 with a simple conviction: if everyone does their part, we can make a difference in the world. Since then, BLC has grown into a community movement – led by passionate staff, volunteers, and partners – committed to practical care and long‑term change in the lives of women and children.
