Project Pearl
Project Pearl is the anti-human trafficking initiative of Bethesda Life Centre Charitable Trust, committed to raising awareness and preventing human trafficking, child abuse, exploitation, and other social issues affecting vulnerable communities across Goa.
The project focuses on educating children, youth, institutions, and communities about their rights, safety, and legal protections while strengthening community and institutional responses to child protection concerns.

Future Vision
Project Pearl is preparing to launch large-scale anti-human trafficking awareness campaigns across Goa while strengthening rescue operations and partnerships with law enforcement agencies.
Future plans also include:

- Opening a dedicated women’s shelter
- Training undercover investigators

What We Do
Project Kushal Moti is a vocational skill development initiative of Bethesda Life Centre launched to empower vulnerable and economically disadvantaged women through skill-based education and livelihood opportunities.
House of Pearl Men is a rehabilitation and shelter initiative under Project Pearl focused on supporting vulnerable and homeless men through rescue, rehabilitation, healthcare support, livelihood assistance, and family reintegration.
The initiative has successfully rescued and rehabilitated 20 homeless men by:
- Providing healthcare access
- Assisting with employment opportunities
- Reconnecting individuals with their families
- Offering shelter and rehabilitation support
The project also aims to expand the men’s shelter home to accommodate more individuals in need.
House of Pearl Women is a future shelter initiative under Project Pearl dedicated to supporting women from vulnerable situations.
The shelter aims to provide:
- Safe accommodation
- Trauma-informed care
- Counseling and rehabilitation
- Legal and medical assistance
- Livelihood and skill training support
- Reintegration assistance
The initiative is currently under development through the renovation of Daniel’s Enclave.
